Lympstone Manor's Celebration of Speed Returns

On Wednesday 10th July 2024, luxury manor house hotel, Lympstone Manor, in Devon, welcomes back its revered annual Celebration of Speed. The one-day summer festival commemorates Michelin-starred Chef-Owner Michael Caines’ love of motorsport with a line-up including panel discussions with TV presenter and racing driver, Jodie Kidd and TV presenter and motor specialist, Ant Anstead. As the evening draws in, Lympstone Manor transforms for a Party in the Paddock, with a world-renowned music line-up including rock sensations, The Feeling and DJ Gok Wan. 

As the British Grand Prix takes its final lap, Lympstone Manor gears up for its annual Celebration of Speed on Wednesday 10th July with doors open from noon to midnight. The 28-acre grounds will transform as it welcomes an exclusive collection of supercars, and motorbikes, offering guests unrivalled access to some of the most desired and exciting brands in motorsport including Lamborghini, McLaren, Ferrari, and Porsche. 

Guests are invited to join the pre-festival Charity Gala dinner on Tuesday 9th July, hosted in a marquee on the lawn of Lympstone Manor with award-winning chef-owner Michael Caines alongside TV presenter and racing driver, Jodie Kidd and TV presenter and motor specialist, Ant Anstead. Caines has crafted a four-course tasting menu featuring premium, locally sourced ingredients and matched with a hand-picked selection of wines. 

An after-dinner Q&A with VIP hosts Jodie Kidd and Ant Anstead will proceed with a raffle to raise important funds for their chosen charities and offer guests a chance to win money can’t buy experiences and motoring memorabilia.

On the festival day, joining Caines on the Celebration of Speed “On Stage with…” talk show will be Jodie Kidd and Ant Anstead, sharing behind-the-scenes insight into the world of speed. VIP hosts also include Formula 3 driver Anthony ‘Bubbles’ Horsley, sharing stories from his time on the track with Hesketh Racing and Team Brit; the first ever all-disabled team to race at Le Mans 24-hour endurance race.  Guests can also take to the track themselves and experience the thrill of Formula 1 in the F1 simulator.  

Attendees are invited to the dedicated ‘Pit Lane’ for a selection of food and drink from the South West’s best festival feasts and beverages to refresh throughout the day, including Lympstone Manor’s range of Estate wines.  

As the day draws to a close, guests are invited to the foreshore of the Exe for a Party in the Paddock with an exciting world-renowned lineup taking to the stage with live music from 5pm. The line-up includes four-times rock sensations The Feeling and multi-award-winning TV presenter, stylist andDJ Gok Wan, with more acts to be announced shortly. 

Guests booking the Residents VIP Tickets are invited to join Lympstone Manor for a two-night stay and an intimate pre-festival gala Dinner on Tuesday 9th July hosted by Jodie Kidd and Ant Anstead. The following day, Residents will have VIP tickets for across the festival. 

Tickets:

General admission tickets: £40 per person / Early bird ticket: £35 per person, purchased before 1st May 2024

VIP Gold Tickets: £250 per person, including a selection of complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; and a feast from the outdoor kitchen for lunch. Early bird tickets available before 1st May

Resident VIP tickets: from £1,315 per night, including two nights accommodation at Lympstone Manor and Charity Gala dinner on 9th July hosted by Michael Caines, Jodie Kidd, and Ant Anstead. 

Starts at 12pm to 12am on 10th July 2024. Last orders 11.30pm

Access to the event:

The Celebration of Speed event will have limited parking available and therefore ticket holders are to access the event via pedestrian routes and public transport with Exmouth Train Station connecting to the Manor via the scenic route of the Exe Estuary Cycle Path; an easily accessible route which takes an approximately 20-minute stroll to reach the Manor or via the 57 bus route Exeter-Exmouth alighting at the Saddlers Arms followed by a short 15 minutes walk to the Manor. 

Guests are welcome to arrive via bicycle and designated bicycle parking will be available around the grounds. 

There will be limited parking available and must be purchased with a valid parking ticket on a first come basis. (Subject to availability and + supplement fee).

Taxi/Drop off location will be at the main entrance of Lympstone however to avoid congestion guests are encouraged to use the pedestrian entrances via the Cycle Path.
