A38 closed due to serious accident
The A38 is closed Exeter-bound at Chudleigh Knighton and there is queuing traffic between the B3344 junction and Kingsteignton turn off, because of accident investigation work.
It is understood a man suffered life-changing injuries in the crash at around 4am today.
The accident involved one vehicle registered to a foreign address. Two people have been taken to hospital - one to Plymouth and the other to Torquay.
A diversion is in operation - via the B3344 through Chudleigh Knighton and Finlake.
