The Cheeky Vegan, celebrated culinary destination for vegans and non-vegans alike, will soon be making an exciting return to Exeter’s Cathedral Yard.

Reopening on Thursday 28 March, in time for the Easter bank holiday weekend, under the watchful eye of new owner and manager, Kenneth Yau, this vegan cafe and brunch experience is focused on rapidly reclaiming its reputation as a local restaurant ‘gem’.

“I'm so very excited to bring a much needed, much loved, vegan restaurant back to Cathedral Yard,” Yau said.

“It doesn't matter if you're vegan, vegan-curious, or just hungry! You’ll want to come to The Cheeky Vegan because the food and drink will always be delicious and the vibe will always be welcoming – being plant-based is an added bonus.”

The Cheeky Vegan will be serving sweet and savoury pastries throughout the day and a diner-style menu at lunchtimes, with vegan burgers and fries, alongside other such diner-style food options. Regular visitors will be able to look forward to the variety of specials on offer - inspired by casual food around the world. Coffee, tea and juices from local suppliers will also be on offer.

“The idea is to make sure that our customers will always find something delicious to suit every appetite and mood,” Yau added.

“I’m 100% dedicated to maintaining the restaurant's reputation for great food, exceptional service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere, and look forward to becoming an important part of the exceptional Exeter community.”

You’ll find The Cheeky Vegan near Exeter Cathedral at 1 Cathedral Yard.
