Sleek new YO! Sushi restaurant gets Exeter Excited
The UK’s favourite sushi restaurant has arrived at Princesshay, one of Exeter’s busiest shopping centres, just in time for Christmas.
Opened by Exeter Lord Mayor Rob Newby and located in the centre of Princesshay, the restaurant’s sleek surroundings cater for 54 guests, consisting of 26 booth seats and 28 stools arranged around a conveyor belt, where diners can watch the expertly trained ‘kitchen ninjas’ slice, dice, wrap and roll the freshest ingredients in front of their very eyes.
YO! Sushi offers an array of over 90 Japanese-inspired dishes, including traditional sushi and sashimi, salads, soups, and hot classics such as chicken katsu curry, rice and noodle based dishes and salmon teriyaki, all served on colour coded plates, ranging from £1.80 to £5. Diners will also be able to tuck into YO! Sushi’s newest addition, Ramen Winter Menu. These large warming bowls of Japanese noodle soup, with a range of different meat and vegetable toppings are the perfect remedy for the cold weather.
The menu is complemented with a selection of Japanese beers as well as carefully chosen red, white and rosé wines, or why not stick with Japanese tradition and sip on hot or cold sake sourced directly from the land of the rising sun.
Wayne Pearce, Princesshay Centre Director, said: “We welcome YO! Sushi to Princesshay. It offers a very different style of dining from our other restaurants, and the food quality combined with the theatre of its conveyor belt delivery system will add new converts.”
YO! Sushi Exeter will be open from 11.30am to 11pm Monday to Saturday, and 11.30am to 10pm on Sunday.
