Cake crazy Hospiscare picture gallery

We’re going cake crazy as we prepare for the Big Devon Bake Off – cakes are being found all over the Exeter hospice!

Whilst strolling in the garden our Hospiscare chaplain Nigel found two cakes tucked in a tree, housekeeper Wendy found them everywhere, ward secretary Denise discovered her desk smothered in creamy cupcakes, as did receptionist Sharon.

Hospiscare patient Lily who was having a cuppa in the day centre, was surprised to discover cakes had suddenly appeared on her chair, even the goldfish bowl in reception did not escape.

Now it’s your turn to go cake crazy and hold either a tea party or a bake off competition. The official Bake Off is September 12-20 but hey if you want do it now whilst the sun’s shining go for it!

As a local charity we needs lots of support from local people to keep our hospice doors open and Hospiscare nurses visiting terminally ill people in their homes in Exeter, East and Mid Devon.
