Charity Art Auction at The Art Room, Topsham
A host of acclaimed artists is donating work to an auction to support Devon in Sight on Saturday 23rd February from 2.30 p.m.
Those giving their work for free include Benedict and Tessa Rubbra, Margaret and Roger Dean, Hillary Goddard, Robert Jennison RWA, Jenny Pery, Peter Randall-Page, Lesley Kerman, Graham Rich, Janice Ridley, Kate Westbrook, Christine Lee, Martin Bentham RWA, Ray Balkwill, and Claire Oboussier and Vong Phaophanit.
Among the many highlights at the auction will be From St Ives Bus Station, by Kate Westbrook, Beech trees and bluebells by Martin Bentham RWA, Oscar (Roy Goddard’s guide dog) by Peter Thursby, an untitled wood carving by Roy Goddard, Quiet blue bowl by Tessa Rubbra, a contact print of Stream near Newton St Cyres by Jem Southham, and Dartmoor series, Track III by Robert Jennison RWA.
All the works by the above artists will have reserves, but there will be other work donated by members of the public which will be sold with no reserves at the auction, which is being administered by Christopher Hampton, Managing Director of Exeter auctioneers Bearns Hampton & Littlewood.

Viewings for the auction will take place at The Art Room in Topsham on Thursday February 21 and Friday February 22 from 11am to 4pm, and on the morning of the sale from 11am.
