A Devon student is one of 40 students showcasing their work at a prestigious exhibition to be held at the Bargehouse, OXO Tower in London.

Karen Sanders, who splits her time between Devon and Bristol, is one of several students who will be showcasing their photographs in the exhibition entitled ‘ FLUXURE’.

The exhibition, which offers a private view on June 19th with the exhibition opening to the public for free from the 20th to the 23rd, is being held to mark the end of the students three year degree course in Photography.

On 3 April, over 50 people from the local business community joined Exeter-based FORCE cancer charity and corporate sponsor, Gilbert Stephens LLP, for a ‘Great Devon Breakfast’ at St Olaves Hotel in Exeter.

The event raised £385 for the charity, which has been raising vital funds to support its outreach programme, offering essential support to cancer patients around Devon.

Exeter YMCA is proud to receive the High Sheriff Award for Services to the Community

John Lee, the High Sheriff for Devon, first visited Exeter YMCA earlier this year. He had a tour of their projects, met with many of the clients to hear how Exeter YMCA had helped transform their lives and heard presentations on their work in prisons, through Job Clubs and in schools.

ADVICE EXETER is a newly formed group of local charities offering free advice and information to local people.

Exeter CAB, Age UK Exeter, Young Devon, Shelter, Community Housing Aid and Homemaker Southwest have teamed up to improve the services they offer to people in Exeter.
