Staff from the East Devon Homes Community Development service at East Devon District Council did an outstanding job organising the Littleham Community Festival, which took place on Saturday 14 May.

This action packed event proved a hit with local residents, with around 240 people of all ages turning out to take part in a wide range of fun activities. Funtasia Entertainment provided an outdoor skittle alley and a fun-fair style stall with plenty of prizes. Music, song and dance at Dartmoor Folk Festival

TOP local and national artists will headline at the 39th Dartmoor Folk Festival, which will be held at South Zeal, near Okehampton, on August 5, 6 and 7.

They include Blazin' Fiddles, Miranda Sykes and Rex Preston, Bob Fox, Mawkin, Talisk, Pete Coe, Alice Jones and Tickled Pink with Fee Lock.

The sun shone upon the crowds that flocked to day two of the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink today.

Hundreds of people enjoyed a packed line-up of activities including chef demonstrations, workshops, festival farmyard, cheese and wine masterclass, live music, Festival Question Time with BBC Radio Devon presenters as well as plenty of delicious regional food and drink to enjoy.

Be part of the very first South West Outdoor Festival (23-25 September), tickets now on sale.

The South West is a mecca for outdoor activities and adventure pursuits, and this year the inaugural South West Outdoor Festival is inviting everyone to come and explore the incredible range of opportunities that are taking place around one unique place: Heddon Valley in Exmoor National Park.

Music, food and crafts at family festival

Tickets to a new family friendly music festival in East Devon are selling fast.

The Altitude Village Festival, which takes place in Blackborough on the weekend of May 20 and 21, will see performances by high profile local and regional bands, including Sound of the Sirens, Bristol reggae band Talisman and Mark Morriss of The Bluetones.

As well as music, there will be children’s entertainment, crafts, and a huge range of street food and drink. The event is being held to raise funds for local charities, including Blackborough Village Hall.
