The lifting in of the beams for the Penn Inn flyover recommences today (Wednesday 15 October).
In advance of the overnight beam lifting operations there will be some lane closures on the roundabout until 3pm to facilitate preparation works and setting up of the large crane.
The remaining two north span braced pairs of beams are scheduled to be lifted into place during overnight operations from 9pm tonight and also tomorrow (16 October).

Work to redevelop a Devon County Council residential care home in Newton Abbot into a modern, state-of-the-art centre of excellence for people with dementia has finished two weeks ahead of schedule.

British Transport Police (BTP) is appealing for information following an incident which took place at Newton Abbot railway station.
Officers have today released CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the incident which took place at about 1.20pm on Monday, 1 September 2014.

The highest profile phase of the South Devon Link Road project to date is set to begin over the next week, as the first beams for the Penn Inn flyover arrive.

Police in Newton Abbot have issued images of two suspects they wish to identify following a spate of high value shoplifting offences. The two suspects are believed to be responsible for a series of high value shoplifting offences that have occurred in Newton Abbot, Plymouth and East Devon.
