Intelligent Optimisations (IO) has announced it is expanding its West Country arm to the Science Park in Plymouth where it will take over the top floor of One Research Way - the most technologically advanced building in the region.

IO are the first tenants to sign up to Plymouth Science Park’s new multi-million pound development.

With offices in London and Plymouth, IO is a high growth technology company that specialises in buying online advertising space on behalf of its clients, using Machine Learning to automate and optimise the process.

Thomas Westcott and Parkhurst Hill announce merger

South West independent accountancy firm Thomas Westcott has announced a merger with one of Plymouth's leading firms of chartered accountants and taxation advisers, Parkhurst Hill.

The merger sees Thomas Westcott's Plymouth-based staff move from the firm's Queen Anne Terrace location to Parkhurst Hill's offices in Plym House, Marsh Mills, bringing total headcount there to 35 including five partners.

NHS could save £8.2m in dental treatments if children chewed sugar-free gum
