Christmas gifts, festive food and Father Christmas can all be found at a Fayre being held for Hospiscare in November.

The fayre takes place on Saturday November 23 at Pine Lodge, Tiverton, EX16 4ND.

Running from 10am to 2pm the event is the perfect place to go for those looking to get into the festive spirit and pick up some early gifts.

Tiverton Support Group Chairman Pam Smith said: “A selection of unique craft gifts, cakes, books, toys and greeting cards will be available, along with a raffle.

“Turkey and Cranberry baps and mince pies will also be served along with a good amount of festive fun at what will be our second Christmas Fayre at Pine Lodge.”

More than £1800 was raised at the fayre last year and the Support Group is hoping that people will come along again this year to support the local charity.

Pam said: “The fayre had a really nice atmosphere last year. We will be putting up the Christmas decorations and a tree which will be left up for the patients to enjoy when they visit the day hospice in the run up to Christmas.

“Hospiscare is a local charity for local patients with terminal diagnoses and their families. We want to invite everyone to come along to our fayre to gear up for Christmas and help us to raise money for a great cause”.

Pine Lodge opened in Tiverton in 2011 and is Hospiscare’s day hospice in Mid Devon. The hospice provides patients in the area with specialist nursing care and support, along with a wide range of therapies.
