Alvarez & Marsal appointed as administrators to Troy (UK) Limited and launch sale process

Paul Berkovi and Mark Firmin of leading professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal were appointed as Joint Administrators of Troy (UK) Limited (the “Company” / “Troy”) on 7 February 2025 and have subsequently launched a sale process for the business and assets of the Company.

Troy is the UK’s largest independent network for tools and maintenance supplies, linking suppliers with independent businesses to sell them to end users. The Company supports a network of more than 450 independent members in the tooling and maintenance industry, providing access to over 460 leading suppliers, as well as product expertise, data services, technology solutions and other business services.

The Company is headquartered in Exeter and has approximately 75 employees. There have been no immediate redundancies and trading has paused whilst the Joint Administrators assess options for the business and pursue an accelerated sales process.

The Joint Administrators are running a sale process for the Company’s business and assets and invite interested parties to register their interest directly with them.
