Exeter Chamber of Commerce has announced the launch of their newly designed website.

Over 80 delegates attended the launch event this week at the Southgate Hotel, and Chamber members and guests were able to see the official unveiling of the new website.

David Savill, Chairman of Exeter Chamber of Commerce said ‘As the leading business membership organisation in Exeter, it’s important for us to make sure information regarding business, industry and commerce in Exeter is easily accessible for our members. We endeavour to support our members with campaigning and lobbying on arising issues, provide the most up-to-date business related information and give the opportunity to connect with a vast network of companies.’

The newly designed website features the chance for members to personalise their own profile with information attributing to their business and there is also an entire section where members can add their own company offers with exclusivity for other Exeter Chamber members. Some other new features include a Twitter wall on the homepage and a fresh new News page keeping members informed of the latest business items and fellow member updates.

Exeter Chamber’s new website has been built by local Exeter web agency Optix Solutions and was sponsored by telecommunications firm, swcomms and law firm, Kitsons LLP.

Jon Whiley, Commercial Director of swcomms said ‘It was a pleasure for swcomms to be one of the main sponsors of Exeter Chamber’s new website. We have been extremely active members for many years and we understand first-hand the benefits of being a part of such a greatly connected business network.’

Cameron Caverhill, Partner at Kitsons LLP said ‘As a member of Exeter Chamber for 22 years I know that the new website will be a great tool in giving businesses and prospective members the chance to understand more about what they do as a Chamber and the links and connections they have which is so important for a business voice in the City.’

With a wide range of members trading not just locally, but worldwide, Exeter Chamber of Commerce & Industry is the leading business organisation in the City and is committed to supporting the interest of its members and future prosperity of Greater Exeter.

Exeter Chamber has been representing, informing and helping local businesses for decades and currently have close to 500 companies in their membership directory. They provide a focal point for industry and commerce in much of Devon and are committed to providing a voice for those businesses at local, regional and national government levels.
