New benefits scheme for city centre businesses
Exeter Business Improvement District (Exeter BID) has introduced a new members’ benefits scheme to offer businesses within the area the chance to save money on their business costs.
Partnering with specialists Meercat Associates, the Exeter BID Joint Procurement scheme looks to reduce costs and secure better deals for BID businesses. There are a number of areas that businesses can look into, including energy, telecoms, stationery and testing.
Rishi Sood, Managing Director of Meercat Associates said “Our partnership with Exeter BID will allow us to provide all members with an opportunity to make informed decisions on their costs and ensure they achieve best value on a wide range of services that impact their bottom line. Use our advisory and benchmarking services to your benefit and start saving!”
The scheme was launched at the Exeter BID Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday 13th July, and a number of BID businesses are already exploring their options. The scheme is fully funded and managed by the Exeter BID, and all BID members are encouraged to use the free service to find out what they could save on their business costs.
Speaking about the scheme, Exeter BID CEO Craig Bulley said, “We are delighted to introduce the new members benefit scheme for BID members, helping businesses to reduce their costs. We want Exeter to be a place where businesses, no matter how small, can start and thrive. Focusing on everything from cheaper electricity and gas prices to more favourable telecoms services, the scheme will help members to reduce the amount paid for basic utilities.”
Working together with the Exeter BID, Meercat Associates will manage the whole procurement process on the businesses behalf from securing the best prices to managing contracts. Meercat Associates are specialists in sourcing and managing contracts for individual businesses and have a track record of partnership-working with BIDs across the country.
