Self Build Satisfaction for Amos Lighting

This year’s Self Build & Design Show at Westpoint in Exeter was dubbed a huge success by Devon’s independent lighting expert, Amos Lighting.

Around 90 exhibitors, local and national, were available at the show, to provide ideas, inspiration and information for visitors, many of whom are undertaking self build projects or renovations.

Ashton Hargreaves, manager of the new Amos showroom at Topsham opening in November, said: “The stand was very busy throughout the weekend, and we enjoyed talking to all our visitors.

“Some have already started their new build or refurbishment projects, and others were seeking inspiration for their upcoming building projects. It was a great opportunity to discuss with them how lighting can transform a space.”

The Self Build & Design Show was celebrating its 20th anniversary at Westpoint, and Amos Lighting has been exhibiting for the past five years. MD and lead designer David Amos gave an inspiring lighting masterclass outlining a variety of techniques that will help his audience create a beautifully lit environment in their own home. He said:

“I always explain that lighting is a high priority when design is being considered, especially at the early stages of planning.”

“Getting it right at the beginning means the completed lighting arrangement will provide long lasting delight and satisfaction to the finished home, rather than be simply an afterthought.”

Next year's show will be held at Westpoint on September 9 and 10.
