South West Communications selected as SuperConnected Cities supplier

South West Communications Group has been selected as an approved supplier for the Government-funded SuperConnected Cities scheme.

Businesses in Exeter can now get a connection voucher of up to £3,000 for faster, better Internet connectivity to help them grow and develop.

Broadband Connection Vouchers are available to sole traders, SMEs and charities with up to 249 employees. They can be used to spend on the installation costs of an improved Internet connectivity solution, which can also include WiFi.

Harry Langley, managing director of swcomms, said: “These vouchers were previously only available to 22 cities around the UK, but this number was increased to 50 on April 1. We were already an approved supplier for many of the initial SuperConnected Cities and are now delighted to be able to offer our services to local businesses. We can quickly advise businesses if they are eligible for a Broadband Connection Voucher while also offering them consultancy on the best options available.”

The vouchers will be made available on a first come, first served basis until March 31, 2016.
