Veitch Penny looks to next 85 years in Crediton
After 85 years in Crediton law firm Veitch Penny LLP is looking to the future and making plans to ensure the firm’s continued presence in the town.
The firm has recently bolstered the number of legal staff in its Crediton office and will now be able to offer a greater number of services from here.
Civil litigation partner Catherine Rosewell has relocated to the Crediton office from Exeter. Catherine, who was promoted to partner in 2013 will be available to assist both individuals and business owners to resolve legal disputes. She will also be working alongside Managing Partner, Ian Penny to grow the Crediton practice.
Crediton-based trainee solicitor Phil Kay has recently completed his legal training and qualified as a solicitor. He will continue to work out of the Crediton office and will specialise in commercial, property and employment law.
Managing Partner, Ian Penny comments: “We have had a solid presence in the town for many years and are keen for that to continue. I am delighted to welcome Catherine to the Crediton team and Phil as a qualified solicitor. They will both enhance the service we are able to provide to the local community.”
Veitch Penny is an active supporter of the Crediton Arts Centre and has recently signed up as main sponsor of Crediton Festival’s ‘Operation Belinda’ production.
Veitch Penny will now be able to offer a broad legal service from its Crediton office including property; dispute resolution; Wills, trust and probate; and legal services for owner managed businesses.
