Free updating trustees workshops for charities
Trustees in Devon have the opportunity to find out about the latest regulations affecting charities at free workshops taking place across Devon.
The specialist charities team at Thomas Westcott Accountants will be on hand at five locations to deliver expert advice on a range of issues, including SORP 2014, charities structure and trading, Gift Aid and auto enrolment.
Steve Cresswell, partner at Thomas Westcott and head of the charities and not for profit team, two of whom hold the prestigious Diploma in Charity Accounting, said: "Trustees of charities face very specific challenges and require a high level of understanding about the legal and accounting framework in which they operate."

- Tuesday June 2 - Barnstaple Hotel, Braunton Road, Barnstaple
- Wednesday June 3 - Southgate Hotel, Exeter
- Monday June 8 - Grand Hotel, Torquay
- Tuesday June 9 - TR2, 12 Neptune Park, Plymouth
- Wednesday June 10 - The Beehive, Dowell Street, Honiton.
There is no charge to attend, however spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
