Some Enchanted Evening

180 guests joined Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) for their Enchanted Ball at Exeter Castle.  The event was sponsored by Equinix and Brewin Dolphin and hosted by celebrity gardener Toby Buckland. 

Over £25,000 was raised at the event. This could pay for ELF’s counsellor for a whole year meaning that 300 families can get the advice and support they need during some of the most difficult times of their lives.

Guests enjoyed a 3 course meal and a silent auction with prizes including a guitar signed by MUSE, a holiday in Cornwall and a box at the 02, before dancing the night away to the sounds of local band, Basher Tate.   ELF is incredibly grateful to The Prop Factory for lending furniture, topiary letters, signs and even a Pinocchio; and to Urban and Rural for lending trees to really make the evening enchanting. Another Planet who played a huge role in making all the table decorations; stationary for the evening; and creative ideas.

The money raised will make a huge difference to families across Devon whose lives have been turned upside down by a blood cancer or blood disorder.”
