Hip Hip Harry's! Foodie haven in Exeter has reopened its doors to the public
Harry’s Restaurant in Exeter reopened its doors to the public on Friday 17th July after months of closure due to Covid-19 and has unveiled what future diners can expect when they visit.
The family run gem on Longbrook Street has introduced a number of social distancing measures to ensure an absolute ‘gold’ standard in safety and hygiene for their staff and diners. Their aim is to make you feel safe, comfortable, relaxed, and of course, completely satisfied - see Harry’s as your ‘safe haven’ from the outside world.
Along with the latest temperature scanning technology, and an extensive list of wellness measures and guidelines which you can find on the Harry’s website, a dedicated, in-house Wellness Champion from the Harry’s team will be solely responsible for ensuring all measures are being adhered to and will be on hand to answer questions and help staff and customers feel safe.
Although there are some changes in the restaurant, Harry’s have embraced this and have made it their mission to ensure diners feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Along with a new al fresco seating area to enjoy on summer evenings, local plant professionals and fellow Exeter indy ‘Hutch Houseplants’ have worked their magic in making the interior feel bright, fresh and airy, whilst retaining the warm and inviting atmosphere which diners have enjoyed since the restaurant opened in 1993. The attention to detail is ‘on point’, and be rest assured that cosy casual dining remains at the forefront of what Harry’s have to offer.
Chef Proprietor, Samantha Pounds says: “We are so excited to be opening our doors once again to familiar and new faces and introduce our new safe space. We can’t thank our friends and diners enough for their patience, support and understanding whilst we’ve been closed over the past few months. Although the restaurant will look and feel a little different, we are doing everything we can to make our new normal feel as normal as possible, and we hope our diners love it as much as they ever have in the past. Our number one commitment remains the wellness and safety of our employees and guests as we take these first steps together in bringing Harry’s back to life in a safe and respectful way.”
Harry’s Restaurant reopened to the public on Friday 17th July 2020.
