Cofton Country Holidays launches new range of high-end holiday cottages

Devon’s multi award winning Cofton Country Holidays, located near the pretty coastline at Dawlish Warren, welcomed over 40 guests to the unveiling of its new range of eight high-end holiday cottages this week, including guests of honour Beckie Bettesworth and Laura Wall, both of whom have artwork in the cottages. 

Completely refurbished following a make over by interior designer Julie Cunningham, the collection includes three luxury cottages with hot tubs in the delightful rural setting of the Eastdon Estate, just two miles from Cofton, as well as five sumptuous cottages close to Cofton’s central, family-focused facilities.

The cottages’ generous, light and airy living and dining areas each have high quality dining tables and chairs, comfy sofas and seats, elegant coffee tables and 55” TVs. 

Little Orchard and Cockwood, situated on the main site, are a particular delight as both feature whitewashed painted beams in the main living areas and kitchens.  The spacious properties on the Eastdon Estate enjoy generous rooms and impressive views of nearby woodland, rolling fields and the dramatic Exe Estuary.

Each has been individually finished with charming shaker style kitchens featuring high-end fixtures and fittings. Woodside Cottage, one of the largest properties on the Eastdon Estate, has its own American style fridge freezer, Range cooker and tumble dryer while all cottages come with dishwashers and washing machines. 

Pretty bedrooms are furnished with super king beds, double beds or singles individually made up with luxury Egyptian Cotton bed linen.  Each comes with drawers or cupboards as well as side tables and stylish bedside lamps.  Little touches that make your stay all the more memorable include prints of South Devon painted by renowned local artists Becky Bettesworth and Laura Wall. 

Guests visiting the 4-star graded holiday park can look forward to a host of on-site facilities including heated indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, restaurant, pub, fitness studio, spa, sauna room and much more.

For those that like to explore the great outdoors there are miles of cycle paths and walks along designated nature trails that take visitors through woodland, parkland and mature meadows to Dawlish Warren beach and nature reserve.  The site even has five highly regarded coarse fishing lakes that are for the exclusive use of on-site guests.
