Exeter Neon Night Run is back!
On 28 May over 1,000 runners will be taking to the city streets and glowing for their local hospice charity.
The 5k sponsored run starts and finishes at the University of Exeter, with runners being entertained by music as they head towards the city centre. Hospiscare’s events fundraiser Celia Wilkinson said: “The run sold out very quickly last year and we’re expecting this year’s event to be just as popular, so don't miss out on your chance to take part.
“Our Neon Wonderland will open an hour before the run starts, giving you the opportunity to freshen up your face paints and glow in our music tent. There will be three splatter stations along the route where you will be covered from head to toe in neon paint. Be prepared to get messy and glow!”
This year the Exeter Neon Night Run is being sponsored by Everys solicitors. Llewellyn Nicholls, head of Business Development and Marketing, said: “Everys care about the local community and the people in those communities and we believe Hospiscare provides a valuable service for local people.
"Everys has supported Hospiscare in the past five years and wanted to do so again in 2016. The Neon Night Run especially appealed to us as it has a young vibrant family feel but still has traditional values at heart."
Exeter Hospiscare provides expert help and support to hundreds of local patients and their loved ones living with a terminal illness. Hospiscare specialist nurses visit patients in their own homes as well as providing expert help at the 12 bed city hospice, Searle House.
The early bird offer means entry is only £15 if booked before Friday 26th February, which includes a Neon Night Run t-shirt, refreshments on the night and some goodies to get you runners glowing.
