Wherever you are in the world, Devon-based company, Alive Studios, has just made it possible to manage film and image transfer without the use of a computer thanks to its new “Karishma Cloud App”.

This world first App, that is available for all Apple and Android devices, means that old cine film, video and camcorder tapes can be sent for transfer into a High Definition format straight from a phone or tablet.

Once downloaded from the AppStore, Karishma Cloud App will request registration and sign in before setting up an account for the first time.  It then prompts the user to, either “Build New Order” of the items needing to be transferred or to “View my Orders” that are already with Alive Studios.  This handy App allows the customer to manage and check current status of orders, view payments and track collection and delivery of their films.

When transfers are complete they can be viewed in “View My Media”.  Here the customer can watch the films straight from the phone or tablet, and what's more they can share them with friends and family around the world.  All the videos will be in High Definition so they can also be viewed through a Smart TV.

The process is easy to use, and the handy “Call Us” button will put the customer directly in touch with their editor who is ready to answer any questions or queries.

Alive Studios is a well-established business that is dedicated to transferring old cine film, video and camcorder tapes to the latest High Definition, digital formats.  The team, using their state of the art technology, sympathetically enhance and improve the film to restore it to the highest quality possible.  Alive Studios is forever raising the technology bar to ensure that its clients get nothing less than excellent film quality and happy memories.
