Community Fund opens for nominations

For its next Well Built Community Fund, RGB Building Supplies is giving a charity, school or local project the chance to win £1,000 to spend on decorating supplies at one of its 20 branches, and is inviting groups in the Exeter area to get in contact.

Whether the inside of a school needs decorating, the outside of a community centre needs a refresh, fencing needs painting, or a group would like materials for a large art project, RGB would like to hear about it.

From all the nominations received, three will be chosen to go through to a vote where the public will be asked to decide who will receive the £1,000 donation.

Paul West, Branch Manager at RGB Exeter, commented: “Our range of decorating supplies covers everything needed to transform an area and we look forward to hearing from groups about projects they need help with.”

Groups, charities and schools can apply by emailing RGB@pmwcom.co.uk and explaining how £1,000 worth of decorating supplies would help their project. Nominations can also be posted to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU.  The closing date for nominations is Sunday 25th August.

Until February 2020, RGB will also be inviting groups to apply for £1,000 worth of tools and building materials, timber and landscaping products, as well as £1,000 to help transform a kitchen or bathroom area.
