A Devon model railway business has hit the headlines with its range of saucy models.

The X-rated collection includes a peeping tom and couples engaged in intimate acts.

Several national newspapers have picked up on the story since the Sun first ran it.

Maria Husson, 50, owner of the store based in Axminster, told a reporter: "All sorts of people buy them, for private collections or demonstration tracks.

"People make out model railways are boring but they're really not."

Buffers Model Railways has even won endorsement from Top Gear's James May, who described it as "my kind of model shop" in an online review.

The collection is made by German firm Noch. Figures are priced at £3 for one to £16 for a set of six.
