Hampton by Hilton Exeter Airport has opened its new 40-bedroom extension, and now offers 160 rooms to guests.

Norlin Hotels who own and manage this busy and friendly, modern hotel have invested over £3.5million in the extension and refurbishment of the property.

Along with the extension of the bedroom offerings, the hotel has seen an extensive upgrade outside of the bedrooms too. A complete ground floor upgrade has been carried out, including three new fully equipped meeting rooms, to enable the hotel to meet the corporate and conferencing demand.

The introduction of a new food concept is another major development, with the emphasis now on fresh & local produce- all to be enjoyed within informal social spaces. The hotel continues to offer complementary wi-fi, car parking and on-site fitness centre.

Hampton by Hilton Exeter Airport was the first hotel in Europe to install one of Hilton’s newest technological innovations, Digital Key. Operating from the Hilton Honors app, it is a simple process to select a room, check in on line and download a Digital key: allowing guests to open their bedroom door with a mobile device. All of Hilton’s 72 million Hilton Honors members have access to Digital Key when staying on property.

Richard Irwin from Norlin said: "We acquired the hotel in August 2016 and immediately recognised the demand for additional rooms. We are working in partnership with Hilton on a number of exciting projects, and look forward to the continued development of our excellent relationship."
