Exeter Cookery School moves a step closer

Real Estate specialists at Foot Anstey have advised on the new site of the Exeter Cookery School on Exeter's historic Quayside.

Senior Associate Nicholas Burt and Associate Rebecca Haynes advised the landlord and developer EIC (Exeter) Limited on the transaction which will bring much needed regeneration to the area. Exeter Cookery School owners are planning a contemporary New York loft-style interior coupled with the latest kitchen equipment which is due to be completed and operational by the summer.

As well as having a significant property portfolio across Exeter, EIC is a world class supplier of surface finishing (including high quality painting, powder coating and blasting services) serving the aerospace, nuclear, oil and gas and all engineering sectors. Nicholas Burt said: "We were delighted to be able to support EIC on this deal, the Exeter Cookery School will bring much needed energy to Exeter's Quayside and we wish them every success".

Local property agents Damian Cook (Stratton Creber Commercial) and Clare Cochrane (Vickery Holman) who put together the deal and were involved throughout. Damian commented: "There was good demand for the building which comprises nearly 10,000 sq.ft on two floors. We received interest from a number of potential users mainly from the leisure sector due to the diversity of the area and the property benefitting from water frontage onto the Canal."
