The Family Law Company wins Team of the Year

A hardworking legal team from The Family Law Company is celebrating after winning the coveted Team of the Year Award at the inaugural DASLS Awards.

The team found out that they were the winners during the awards ceremony held at Sandy Park.

The Family Law Company Director Jane Chanot who heads up the team, which is based in Exeter and Plymouth said: "I was completely taken by surprise and extremely proud when we were called up to accept the award.

"There was an amazing number of legal luminaries at the event, and we were all rather in awe. To be amongst the award winners is a superb tribute to a wonderfully passionate and committed team."

Jane's team handles cases of domestic violence, honour based violence and child abduction, including international cases that require a great deal of dedication. Linguistic skills are also an advantage and these are provided in part by newly promoted Senior Associate Grace Bradley who, with Jane, accepted the award on the evening.

Aside from the team’s nomination and award, Director Rachel Buckley was thrilled to have been a finalist in the Leader/Law Manager of the Year category.
