Local firms sponsor charity Rainbow Run

Local companies including LV=Exeter, Brend Hotels, Isca Barum Insurance Brokers, RGB Building Supplies and Thomson Reuters have signed up to sponsor paint stations at Children’s Hospice South West’s Rainbow Run, being held at Westpoint Arena near Exeter in June.

Naomi Dymond, Corporate Fundraiser at the charity’s Little Bridge House hospice near Barnstaple said: ‘We are thrilled these wonderful local companies have chosen to support us. Their sponsorship is vital to ensuring we can continue to run the event which brings much needed funds into the hospice, and we’d like to say a huge thank you for their generous support. It’s set to be a brilliant day!’

Rainbow Run is a 5K fun run through different coloured powder paint stations. The companies have all chosen to sponsor a paint station on the course with their choice of colour reflecting their brand. Each sponsor will manage their station with their team members throwing the power paint at runners. They’ll also have a stand in the large event village, which features live entertainment, bouncy castles, music from Radio Exe and refreshments.

It’s a messy day out but great fun and many companies, including Brend Hotels and Isca Barum Insurance Brokers, returning year after year. Rainbow Run takes place on Saturday 10 June at Westpoint near Exeter. An adult entry is just £17.50, Child (5-15) £11.00 and there are discounts for family tickets and groups.
