Handmade cosmetic brand Lush is opening a new store in Princesshay Exeter, due to launch this autumn.

The new, larger premises on Eastgate in Princesshay will replace its smaller unit on Exeter High Street and will be located alongside NEXT and Carphone Warehouse.

From bath bombs to face masks, Lush is a popular British brand which started out in Poole, Dorset. Its decision to move into bigger premises reflects the popularity of its products and service in Exeter’s retail market.

Anna Wiltshire, Manager at Lush Exeter said: “Lush has been a fragrant presence on Exeter High Street for 14 years now and during that time we have seen more and more interest in our fresh handmade cosmetics. Our new store in Princesshay will be a much-needed larger store, and we hope to welcome our loyal customers as well as many new faces when we open this autumn. We can't wait to share this experience with everybody.”

Wayne Pearce, Princesshay Centre Director: “We are delighted to welcome Lush to Princesshay where it’s new, larger offering will join our strong repertoire of beauty brands. Lush is a household name and we’re pleased to offer the space they require in Exeter.”

Lush in Princesshay will occupy the former Sweatshop store, and is set to open this autumn with the existing team moving from the High Street store and creating new jobs too.

Further details on the store launch activity will be released next month.
