Overnight temporary traffic lights on Bridge Road
Temporary traffic lights will be in use at Bridge Road in Exeter over four nights, starting from this evening (Thursday 15 December).
The road will be reduced to one lane when the temporary lights are installed overnight between 11pm and 5am tonight, tomorrow night (Friday 16 December), Monday 19 December and Tuesday 20 December.
The temporary lights will provide the contractor with the working space to install new streetlights on the downstream side of Countess Wear Bridge.
The aim is to get the new streetlighting operational before the Christmas break, but this is subject to weather and attendance from Western Power Distribution.
If works finish in advance of 5am, the traffic lights will be removed as soon as possible.
