Princesshay is offering a free recruitment service to its occupiers.

‘Recruit Princesshay’ is an initiative developed by The Crown Estate to place skilled candidates into positions within Princesshay as well as the surrounding area.

The free service will be introduced this spring and will welcome Hannah Latty, a Workplace Co-ordinator who will deliver the service. Hannah will arrange visits with local businesses in order to understand the current and future recruitment needs of the organisation.

Recruit Princesshay will help to find skilled candidates who live in Exeter and the Heart of Devon. The service will organise interview and assessment days on the companies’ behalf, so that candidates with relevant skills and experience will be put forward. Tailored training will be delivered to the candidates in partnership with employers based in the area.

Faheem Qureshi, Head of Employment Generation for The Crown Estate comments, “We’re delighted to be able to launch Recruit Princesshay in Exeter, which is inspired by the success of our similar initiative in Regent Street London, to support our occupiers in finding good calibre staff as well as investing time in their progression.

"We will be working with our stores and restaurants within Princesshay as well as across the city of Exeter to help businesses find the right people as well as helping create careers for local people - a win/win for our local communities and partners.”

As part of this service, work place mentoring and training is also provided to every candidate for six months after the initial appointment. This ensures people remain in positions and progress.
