Two extensive resurfacing schemes will be carried out in Devon next month.

Devon County Council is investing £150,000 to improve the surface of roads in Broadhembury and Chardstock.

Work on the A373 Colliton Cross to Broadleaze, Broadhembury, is due to start on Monday 26 October. The road will be fully closed, 24 hours a day, until Saturday 31 October.  During the closure, traffic will be diverted via the B3181 and A30.

The A358 Chard Road at Chardstock will be resurfaced from Monday 9 November.

The road will be closed overnight from 7pm to 7am with traffic diverted via the A35 and A30. Work is due to be completed by Saturday 14 November.

Work will be carried out by Glendinning Contracting on behalf of the County Council.
