Volunteers wanted for Operation Future
Cross Deck are looking for Armed Forces veterans and their friends and families to take part in an exciting new project: Operation Future
Exeter-based careers advice platform for men and women with a military background, Cross Deck, is looking to recruit an army of volunteers to appear in a brand new and exciting commercial which will be shot on Woodbury Common on Friday 6 November.
Operation Future offers those involved the opportunity to be a part of a project with a real sense of community and togetherness at its core. The commercial isn’t just a corporate product but a message to those in need of some support, letting them know that they’re not alone.
Cross Deck has teamed up with Exeter’s Pangaea TV to make their vision a reality. The company’s senior producer, Lesley Dean, can’t wait to get stuck in. “Pangaea TV were thrilled to be asked by Cross Deck to produce a film for them to promote the careers advice service they offer to ex-military personnel.
We are very much looking forward to working with the team at Cross Deck, and the prospect of being part of a worthwhile project makes it even more exciting”
Having been in this position myself in the past, I know and understand how daunting it can be. Cross Deck was created to provide support and solutions for these guys so we’re all really excited to get stuck in to this new project”.
Oli Justice, Cross Deck’s Sales and Marketing Manager believes that this project marks the beginning of a huge transformation in the service that the company provides with the launch of a brand new website and a series of national Careers & Training Fairs looming on the cards for 2015.
“We couldn’t be any more excited at Cross Deck HQ right now. There’s so much going on and Operation Future is just the beginning. We’re all eager to get stuck in on Woodbury Common and get our boots muddy!
This project has really reminded us why we do what we do – the support from the local community has been unreal and it just keeps growing and growing. We want everyone to get involved. Whether you’ve been in the forces or you’re a supporter, this is an amazing chance to do something different and have a lot of fun in the process.”
