Wear sports shirts to work at RGB
The Exeter branch of RGB Building Supplies is inviting customers and the local community to their Prostate Cancer UK #Shirt2Work charity breakfast morning on Friday 30th October where they will have the chance to win a signed Exeter Chiefs home shirt and a signed Exeter City FC home shirt.
As well as offering breakfast between 8am and 12pm, in return for a £2 donation, staff will be donning the shirt of their favourite team challenging those that attend to do the same.
Running alongside the silent auctions to win the signed Exeter Chiefs and Exeter City FC shirts, there will be charity raffle to boost the fundraising total with the chance to win some great prizes.
Prostate Cancer UK is the official charity partner of The Football League. The #Shirt2Work campaign aims to raise awareness and vital funds to enable the charity to continue its research and provide much needed support for men and their families affected by the disease.
Keith Harris, Product and Marketing Manager at RGB Building Supplies, commented: “Our charity events are always extremely well supported by our customers and we’re certain that our #Shirt2Work breakfast morning will be no different. Prostate Cancer UK is our charity of the year and we’re delighted to be raising money to help them continue with their fantastic work. We look forward to welcoming everyone along to the Exeter branch in their football or rugby shirts and, in advance, we would like to thank our customers for their generous donations.”
James Beeby, Director of Fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK, added: “It’s brilliant to see RGB Building Supplies getting their kit on to help Prostate Cancer UK tackle one of the biggest killer in men. By wearing football or rugby shirts on #Shirt2Work morning, staff and customers are not only showing their support to the 330,000 men living with prostate cancer in the UK, but also helping to raise much needed money. We thank the Exeter branch and wish them success for the day.”
The #Shirt2Work breakfast morning in aid of Prostate Cancer UK takes place at RGB’s Exeter branch, which is based on Alphinbrook Road, on Friday 30th October between 8am and 12pm.
