Wonford pub sold to Sorry Head boss
The Flying Horse in Wonford, Exeter has been sold to new owner Phil Daysh, who runs the popular Sorry Head venue in Blackboy Road, ner Exeter city centre.
The substantial three storey detached property within a site of approximately 0.4 acres was on the market with JLL at a guide of £295,000.
Acting on behalf of the vendor Punch Taverns, Michael Easton, associate director in JLL’s Hotel and Hospitality team in Exeter, said: “The sale of The Flying Horse is great news for the local community as it means the pub will continue to serve local people, and under Phil’s ownership I would expect positive things for its future development.”
The Flying Horse is a local community pub with 10 first floor and attic letting bedrooms and situated within the residential area of Wonford approximately 15 minutes’ walk from Exeter city centre.
