30 years’ service for Exmouth accountant

Corporate Services Manager, Janice Hart, is celebrating her 30th year at established Devon accountants Thompson Jenner.

Janice started at the firms Exmouth office in July 1985 and has become an important part of the team. As one of Devon’s leading firms of accountants, Thompson Jenner has a proud record of developing and retaining its key staff and Janice is a perfect example of that.

“I can’t believe that I am celebrating my 30th year at Thompson Jenner, the time has just flown past. I’ve made many good friends over the years and there’s a great working atmosphere at the firm,” said Janice. She went on to say” Probably the biggest change I’ve seen is how the firm has grown over the years and the way that young members of staff have progressed to managers and in some cases become partners in the firm”

Janice’s specialist troubleshooting accounting skills have been appreciated by many of Thompson Jenner’s clients’, who have seen at first hand Janice's ability to initially resolve their bookkeeping, accounting and VAT crises and to then help them improve their accounting systems. She is also a regular visitor to clients’, helping them produce the trusted management information needed to guide their businesses forward. This regular and reliable support means that Janice is highly valued by many of the firm’s business clients.

At a presentation ceremony at the firms Exmouth office, Partner, Ruskin Wilson, congratulated Janice on her achievement and thanked her for her loyal service. He said,” Janice has been an ever-present influence at Thompson Jenner for the past 30 years and we are extremely grateful to her, as she has contributed massively to the Exmouth's office development and success over three decades. We are delighted that she has achieved this milestone and are looking forward to many more years working at the firm”

He went on to say, “Having joined Thompson Jenner at about the same time as Janice, I am especially pleased for her as she is not only a wonderful employee, but also a very good friend and I am looking forward to many more years of working together and celebrating the next milestone”
