Best of the West in Tech at Regional Showcase

Success stories from some of the region’s leading and emerging technology companies will be highlighted at a ‘Best of the West’ showcase later this month.

The event is being run by Tech South West and will see 20 tech firms highlight their successes and future plans for 2018 and beyond. It will also bring together people working in the sector in the region to connect with potential collaborators, customers, investors and suppliers.

The ‘Best of the West’ showcase takes place at Rockbeare Manor near Exeter Airport on Thursday November 28, 2-5pm.

Toby Parkins, chairman of Tech South West and founding director of Headforwards in Cornwall, is speaking at the event.

He said: “We’re looking for brilliant tech companies of every type to showcase the ‘Best of the West’. Across the region there are incredible businesses in the sector, but often we don’t celebrate the great work they do. Tech South West will be putting on this event to do just that, and help those firms connect and build new business relationships in the process.”

Companies involved will also be highlighted in a new Tech South West ‘Best of the West’ report being published at the end of the year.
Taking part are companies including Plymouth-based Vualto, Dashboard and Slingshot 6, from Exeter.
