Apprenticeships have never brought more value to businesses across the region. They have been without doubt one of the success stories of the last five years and record numbers of employers have switched on to the  benefits that young, motivated people bring to their organisation.

But Apprenticeships are about to go through the most significant change in 20 years.

Do you feel you are fully prepared for the reforms regarding Apprenticeships?

Are you aware of the impact that the Apprenticeship Levy and changes to funding will have on your business?

Do you know how your organisation will benefit from government support by taking on Apprentice?

If the answer is no to any of the above then read on……….

April will see the introduction of the Apprenticeship Levy. Employers with a wage roll of over £3m will have to pay 0.5% of their payroll into the levy. There are also plans for Public Sector Employers to take on 2.3% of their workforce as Apprentices. There is a phased introduction of standards, which will replace frameworks and the introduction of the Digital Apprenticeship Service which will handle the funding allocation for Apprentice training.

Exeter College, as the number one college in the south west for Apprenticeships, recognise that it is essential to keep employers informed of the changes and are presenting a full and informative morning conference to deliver tailor made sessions, presented by the experts, to help prepare businesses for these changes.

If you are a partner of Exeter College or currently employ an Apprentice training with us then you are able to claim free tickets. Please phone 01392 400800 or email BusinessSolutions@exe-coll.ac.uk for more details.

If you would like to attend the event and do not currently work with Exeter College, tickets are £50 and include full access to conference sessions, breakfast, refreshments and a light lunch. All proceeds from tickets sales go to college charity – Devon Air Ambulance.
