Cornish wedding venue expands team as local and international demand continues to grow

A popular Cornish wedding venue has welcomed a new member of staff in order to support their continued growth.

Launcells Barton, located in a picturesque village near the North Cornwall coast, has appointed Alannah Luscombe as an Assistant Wedding Coordinator. 

The move comes after the venue, which first opened its doors to couples wanting to tie the knot in the duchy some eighteen months ago, experienced significant increases in demand both locally and out of county, as well as from oversees.

Owner Lara Gill explained “Prior to opening we all put in an incredible amount of time and effort into lovingly restoring each and every part of the site – from the Grade II* listed manor house right through to the grounds and everything you see at Launcells Barton today – we’ve been delighted by the sheer volume of people wanting to spend one of the most important days of their lives with us at this unique and very special location!”

Over the past year enquiries have grown quickly and significantly, many of which are now coming from outside of the county and as far afield as Australia, with dates in 2018 quickly filling up. 

Lara added “With so many dates already booked we felt the time was right to add another full time member to our growing team.  Alannah brings with her experience of the wedding and events industries and has taken to the role like a duck to water – she will undoubtedly add to the service we aim to provide all of our couples with here at Launcells Barton.”
