Dream appointment for Devon PR man and Thunderbirds fan

CEO of the Bideford-based company Raymond Goldsmith said: “I was extremely pleased to be asked to take on such a key role and very proud to become part of the very production that sparked my own interest in science fiction.

“The Andersons have also created GloTime.TV, a wonderful new multimedia platform to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the first showing of the original TV series. I will be assisting with site and social media promotion as well as covering creative director Dee’s activities as a producer/ director as she heads up new Anderson brand projects.

“Next year marks the first which is an A-list charity event called the Pink FAB Ball, to be held at the iconic Landmark Hotel in London on May 6, 2016.

“Besides A-listers, attractions will include iconic performers, themed tables, a raffle with exclusive prizes and the main event, a charity auction with exclusive memorabilia.”

All proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Care.

Goldsmith’s main function, due to a film industry background, will be providing assistance with a new TV series called The Last Station, an original Anderson concept, presently in development.

Cass Lewis, the bassist and co-songwriter of Skunk Anansie, is also a long time contributor to The Last Station team as musical director, science fiction consultant and co-writer.

Dee Anderson said: “Raymond is very proactive and is known as an out-of-the-box creative thinker.

“He’s already had a positive impact within the company and we’re looking forward to a long and fruitful working relationship.”
