Ensure you make a difference in Devon in 2020
EXETER residents wishing to make a difference this year (2020) within the communities and neighbourhoods where they live are being invited to take up a role in care in the area.
Guardian Homecare has 100 well-paid, carer positions available that are vital to its service users’ quality of life. Each position offers benefits, training and career advancement.
Manager, Catherine Porter explains: “Our services and the care our carers provide are essential to anyone who is elderly and vulnerable who may be experiencing physical disabilities, learning difficulties, spinal injury, mental health difficulties, palliative care and complex neurological difficulties.
“It is important that people who need extra support are able to remain in their own homes, so our carers ensure this happens and assist them with living an independent lifestyle. Research has shown that people who remain at home do better.
“We’re also keen to dispel the myth that a career in care is poorly paid and staff lack training, support and benefits. Flexibility is key and we can offer work at weekends, in evenings and have both part and full-time vacancies available.”
Guardian Homecare, which has teams in Torbay and in Exeter, wants to hear from kind, honest and reliable people who are considering making a career for themselves in the care industry in 2020 and would like to find out more.

Guardian Homecare provides all its staff with full, paid training and colleague shadowing at the start, and they have additional, on the job support from the team 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
