Friday 19th January 2018 - Exeter-based school’s tour operator, the School Travel Consultancy (the STC), today announced the business’s rebrand to ‘STC Expeditions’.

The name change, which comes about from immediate effect, is a result of an extensive rebranding programme designed to mirror the evolution of the organisation and reflect the variety of expeditions and educational experiences on offer.

Adrian Ferraro, Founder & Director says: “The STC has been trading since 2006 and has grown from a one-man band in the early days, to a team of seven. As the business has evolved, we wanted to ensure our brand clearly defines the types of educational experiences we offer. For instance, as well as school expeditions, we also offer subject related educational tours focusing on geography, biology, RE and economics.

“These are exciting times for us and the rebrand comes hot on the heels of an office relocation to King Street to accommodate our growing team. While our name has changed, our ethos remains the same in that we are firmly committed to responsible tourism and seek to provide ethical and unique educational travel experiences for schools, placing safety and adventure at the forefront of what we do.”

Since the Exeter based firm started trading twelve years ago, it has sent as many as 3,000 secondary school pupils from across the country to worldwide destinations including India, Cuba, Ghana, Morocco, Costa Rica, Peru, Borneo, Israel and China.
