Find out how your business could benefit from Broadband Connection Vouchers scheme
Exeter Chamber of Commerce and Industry is partnering with Exeter City Council and swcomms to hold an event explaining how local organisations can benefit from up to £3,000 Broadband Connection Vouchers, currently being offered by the Government. The Broadband Connection Vouchers are part of a national scheme available in more than 50 cities across the UK, to help businesses improve their internet connectivity.
Taking place at Sandy Park on Wednesday 16 September 2015 the event is open to businesses across the city and its surrounds. The event will be a chance for businesses in the area to learn what is on offer from the voucher scheme with examples of how businesses can benefit from it, how others have used the scheme and a practical look at how other local businesses have made use of the vouchers.
Starting at 11.30am with registration, networking, reception drinks and a chance to view information from a number of Chamber members that can provide services under the voucher scheme, the event will also include lunch and presentations from Maureen Gori de Murden from Exeter City Council and Colin Woods of swcomms.
Exeter Chamber of Commerce vice president, Derek Phillips said, ‘I am sure that many businesses in Exeter will hugely value an improvement to their internet connectivity and it is hoped that by hosting this event, our members and guests from businesses in the area will have the sufficient opportunity to gather all of the information they need to take advantage of the voucher scheme.’
