GAP continues to grow with new depot openings
Equipment hirer GAP Hire Solutions is continuing with its robust growth strategy and will be opening three new depots in the South West of England in February 2016.
Langage Park in Plymouth has opened its doors to new Non-Mechanical Plant and Welfare Services locations, whilst Bristol’s Rockingham Park has welcomed the addition of a Non-Mechanical Plant depot.
Already well established in both cities, GAP currently has a Plant & Tool Hire and Survey & Safety Hire depot in Bristol’s Avonbridge Trading Estate, whilst Jubilee Way hosts Lifting Hire & Sales and Welfare Services depots. In Plymouth, Plant & Tool Hire and Lifting Hire & Sales currently reside in the city’s Estover Industrial Estate.
Joint Managing Director at GAP Douglas Anderson commented, ‘We consider new locations very carefully and we have chosen these new buildings in Plymouth and Bristol to enhance the current hire options we offer our customers there. All three new locations offer ample space to store a wide range of equipment and are within a close proximity to local road networks.’
In recent years, GAP has focussed on a diversification strategy that has seen the company grow from its traditional Plant & Tool Hire roots to a multi-service offering with 8 divisions, providing customers a complete hire solution. The company now has over 130 locations throughout the UK.
