Hendy Group honours top performing staff
Jake Evans has been named Apprentice of the Year at the Hendy 2017 Service Awards for his outstanding work at Hendy Honda Exeter.
The title was one of the key awards which saw top technicians and administrative staff from Hendy honoured at the company’s annual awards ceremony.
The Service Awards were hosted by TV presenter Alex Brooker with entertainment on the night from electric string quartet Escala.
“The evening was a great opportunity to thank all of our employees who work behind the scenes but play a crucial role in the success of the group and reward some incredibly valuable members of staff,” said Hendy chief executive Paul Hendy.
“Jake is an outstanding apprentice and we’re sure he will continue to be a shining star as he continues his career with the group.”
The Hall of Fame award was presented to Portsmouth-based Mike Weatherston who joined in 1980 and has played an integral role in the continued success in the group. “Mike has been with us for more than 37 years and has been such a valuable member of the team and instrumental in our success story,” said Paul.
Technicians, service and parts advisors from across the group were honoured for their work and as part of the awards Paul Dittrich was named Service Manager of the Year.
