Inspiring story for Business Breakfast

TURNING your family home in to a boutique hotel within the space of a year would be daunting enough to even some of the most experienced business leaders. To do all of this as a mere 26-year old, with little experience and very little financial support is even more impressive.

Attendees at the next Southernhay Breakfast Club will find out all about the story behind Paschoe House, a new luxurious boutique hotel, when they meet next month.

The networking group which meets quarterly with the aim of getting to know other business colleagues in the area of Southernhay in Exeter. The guest speaker at the event on Friday 8 June, will be Tabitha Amador-Christie, who will tell the story of how she converted her family home near Crediton to become a beautiful boutique hotel. The cost to attend is £9.50, which includes a bacon or egg roll, tea and coffee. To attend the club your business must be based in Southernhay or surrounding area.

Marketing and communications company McQueenie Mulholland recently joined with Kirk Hills Chartered Accountants to run the quarterly Southernhay Breakfast Club.

Sue McQueenie, managing partner at McQueenie Mulholland said that Tabitha made an ideal guest speaker for the event.

‘Tabitha’s story is fascinating and we can all learn a lot from listening to her. From securing finance, to liaising with local residents and things that go bump in the night, it’s a really interesting tale of determination and the will to succeed, often against the odds.’

Previous guest speakers have included Michelin starred chef Michael Caines MBE, Chair of the Exeter Chiefs Tony Rowe and television personality Katie Hopkins.
