Meet the Buyer event for Exeter construction professionals

Wates Living Space, the UKs leading social housing maintenance provider, is expanding its presence in the Exeter area and is inviting local construction suppliers and subcontractors to a networking event in June.



The ‘Meet the Buyer’ event, hosted by Wates in partnership with Constructionline, will give small and medium sized sub-contractors the chance to meet the team and to tender for new housing repairs contracts.

The event will be held at the Travis Perkins Exeter Branch, Heron Road, Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter, EX2 7LL on Wednesday 27th June from 9am until 1.30pm.

Opportunities are open to small and medium sized sub-contractors across a range of trades. These include: plumbing, gas servicing and repairs, electrical works, joinery, painting, flooring, tiling and scaffolding, as well as window and door supplying and installing, fire risk assessments and associated remedial works, asbestos surveys and removal, and installers for the undertaking of responsive and voids maintenance.

Wates is also encouraging social enterprises to attend, after their companywide promise to spend £20m within the sector by 2020.
