New roles with JLD for Hannah and Holly
The Family Law Company is pleased to announce that Solicitor Hannah Porter has been appointed as Co-Chair of the Devon & Somerset Junior Lawyers’ Division (JLD) committee.
Hannah was previously secretary of the committee and is delighted with her new role. She said:
“I’m thrilled to have been appointed Co-Chair - it’s a great privilege to be working with so many talented junior lawyers and I’m excited to see what the year ahead brings.”
Hannah will be working closely with Co-Chair Ben Butterworth from Michelmores to provide support and encouragement to the members of the committee in their various roles. Together, they will be leading committee meetings and providing direction for the committee over this next year. She will also be liaising closely with DASLS to ensure their aims and objectives are promoted within the junior division.
At the same time, trainee solicitor Holly Crook has been appointed Diversity Representative on the committee. In her new role, Holly will be helping provide support to all members of the JLD, keeping the diversity policy current and ensuring that all members are treated equally.
The Devon & Somerset Junior Lawyers’ Division encourages and supports leadership, innovation and integrity in the legal profession and provides a strong focus for lawyers in the region.
