One month to go until the Michelmores 5k Charity Run

There's still time to enter the Michelmores 5k Charity Run, which takes place on Thursday 7 September, at 6.30pm.

The law firm is aiming to beat last year's fundraising record of £26,000. For the second consecutive year, the Michelmores Charity Run is in aid of local charity Balloons, who support bereaved children and their families in Exeter and the surrounding areas.

For every £25 raised in sponsorship for Balloons, each runner will be entered into a prize draw to win a long weekend stay for up to six people at a luxury seaside cottage in St Ives.

The run takes place over a five-kilometre city centre course, starting and finishing on Exeter’s Cathedral Green.

“We have once again been delighted with the fantastic level of support we have received for this year's Charity Run – but we're still hoping for more!

“All of the funds raised will go straight to Balloons, a great local charity who provide invaluable support to children and young people in the local area – so we are calling for runners of all abilities to get involved and help us beat last year's fundraising target.”

The entry fee is £18 per runner, which includes an official Michelmores 5k Charity Run t-shirt and goody bag.
